
Cranes
The “Khakassky” state natural reserve includes the unique territories which is typical not only for the Republic of Khakasia, but also for the whole Siberia. 9 reserve’s sections, with the total area of about 267,6 thousands of hectares, absorb the whole diversity of Siberian landscapes beginning from steppe areas and finishing with taiga and high-mountain ones (altitude above sea level is 2,5 thousands of meters).

Peregrine falcon
Besides the picturesque virgin landscapes, the life of such rare bird species as demoiselle cranes, swans, peregrine falcons and others nesting birds can be observed on the reserve’s territory. In the mountain territories the red deer, Siberian roe deer, Siberian ibex can be met.
The ecotourism in the reserve demonstrates the healthy relations between people and nature. Our visitors are the people who want to have a rest and gain strength, observe the wild life and simply feel becoming a part of it.

The school excursion
The main aim of ecotourism in the “Khakassky” reserve is to describe the valuables of the reserve’s territories, tell about the historical and cultural heritage, code of ethic behavior in wild life.
The special protection regime is established on the territory of the reserve. That is why special tourist excursion routes dedicated to the excursion activity have been created. The other territories are closed for the excursions. It is open only for research and protective aims.
Therefore visiting of the “Khakassky” reserve presupposes strict observance of all the norms and rules of behavior on the specially protected areas. The main rule of visiting such protected territories is that we are the guests there and we shouldn’t do harm to the wild life.
